The Community Preventive Services Task Force recommends electronic screening and brief intervention (e-SBI) to reduce self-reported heavy drinking and alcohol-related problems. e-SBI involves using electronic devices, like computers or mobile phones, to screen people for heavy drinking and give them personalized feedback on the risks of heavy drinking.
