The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force found insufficient evidence to recommend for or against regular screening for eating disorders in adolescents and adults. This applies to people age 10 years and older who show no signs of eating disorders, such as:
- Rapid weight change
- Delay of puberty
- Low heart rate
- Irregular period
