As the work of the 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee gets underway, leaders from HHS’ Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion and USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service have issued a call for the public’s participation in a newly published article in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
The article, titled “Looking ahead to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2025-2030: a call to action,” provides a federal perspective on the importance of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, the strength and integrity of the scientific review process, and the Guidelines’ relevance to all Americans.
