Today, the National Center for Health Statistics released two video tutorials with step-by-step guidance on how to use the previously published (1) Trend Analysis and (2) Percent Improvement and Minimal Statistical Significance target-setting tools. This is the first decade in Healthy People history that target-setting tools were created to help guide federal subject-matter experts with selecting targets for the decade. These tools are available to anyone interested in developing targets or goals for health indicators for states, localities, specific populations, or other groups that are methodologically consistent with those developed for Healthy People 2030.
