Questions used to obtain the national baseline data
From the 2018 National Survey on Drug Use and Health:
Numerator:
Have you ever, even once, used [marijuana or hashish]?- Yes
- No
- Within the past 30 days — that is, since [DATE]
- More than 30 days ago but within the past 12 months
- More than 12 months ago
Methodology notes
Respondents are considered to have used marijuana or hashish if they report use of either substance in the past 30 days.
History
1. Because Healthy People 2030 objectives have a desired direction (e.g., increase or decrease), the confidence level of a one-sided prediction interval can be used as an indication of how likely a target will be to achieve based on the historical data and fitted trend.
