Summary
Many people who die in motor vehicle crashes either aren’t wearing a seat belt or are children who aren’t secured in a car seat or booster seat. Making sure that effective seat belt and car seat laws are in place — and enforced — is key to reducing deaths from motor vehicle crashes.
