Baseline: 86.5 percent of homes had adults aged 18 years and over who reported that smoking was not allowed in their home in 2014-15

Methodology
Persons whose cigarette smoking status is missing are excluded from this measure. This is consistent with how measures from the data system are typically analyzed.
History
1. Because Healthy People 2030 objectives have a desired direction (e.g., increase or decrease), the confidence level of a one-sided prediction interval can be used as an indication of how likely a target will be to achieve based on the historical data and fitted trend.
